SIM Toolkit services are available to all subscribers, independent of handset model, and reached easily and quickly via the handset menus. Subscribers do not need to start a browser and connect to a portal to access services. Instead, they are presented with an easy to navigate, always on-line service menu.
Under the direct control of the operator, the SIM card is an ideal vehicle for delivering and correctly provisioning a range of services. Dynamic SIM Toolkit services are available from day one. Our customers have launched, for example, e-Commerce, mobile banking, security, identity services via operator self care, prepaid refill, corporate and community services and simple infotainment services such as games, news and quizzes.
