WAC V4.2 - RELEASE NOTES ======================== New features since v4.1: ------------------------ - Support for all Wib 2.0 elements. (See Known limitation for exceptions). - Windows Vista and Windows 7 support. However, all functionallity of WAC have not been tested under those operating systems. - Send with presets. Possible to set values of variables in range '90'h-'93'h before sending document to Wib phone. This is used to simulate a wiblet triggered by an event. - Support for user selected fonts in editor window. - Java version 1.6 or later now required. - User will be directed to the Sun Java download page if kit or application fail to find a suitable JRE when run. Known limitations: ------------------------ - Execute wiblet command does not work as expected. It is possible to launch a wiblet stored in a variable, but it is not possible to return to the calling wiblet. - It is possible to add catch error elements into the wml, but there is no support to simulate different errors. - Handle exit element is possible to add to wml, but there is no support to simulate different exit conditions. Bug fixes: ------------------------ - Fixed bug where sample code copied from help section where pasted into the editor in one row. - Fixed bug with the display variables dialog. - Fixed bug in Group/Ungroup dialog. - Fixed bug with wrong output from the PAD plugin. - Fixed bug with numerous commands where garbage characters was shown in Wib phone if title/alphaid was left out in wml element. - Fixed bug where Conditional Jump element sometimes jumped wrong. Fixed bugs - A plugin call followed by another plugin call now works Known limitations: - Crypto plug-ins do not conform exactly to SmartTrust WIB Plug-in Specification. The crypto part works, but PIN signing, error codes, etc., may sometimes be missing or not working. - Only a limited subset of Wib 2.0 features are currently emulated. - Only a subset of Plugin features may be defined via the GUI.
