Vice President Business Unit Device Management
Joining SmartTrust in February of 2008 and bringing over 15 years experience from the IT and Telecom Industries, Magnus leads the Business Unit Device Management for SmartTrust. He is charged with leading SmartTrust’s efforts in the device management marketplace as it rapidly grows in importance to mobile network operators from mobile service enabler to mission critical component for mobile service success.
He comes to SmartTrust from Cybercom Group, a leading high-tech consultancy based in Sweden for the telecom, Internet, financial services and media industries, where he has held senior management positions, most recently as Business Unit Manager for their large “Strategy and Advisory Services” practice. Previously he lead their, and Netcom Consultants (acquired by Cybercom in April of 2005), global efforts in the Service Deployment and Business Support Systems (BSS) segments for network operators. Magnus has worked with AMS (American Management Systems), the Swedish Defense Department’s Research arm and for a number of companies within the construction industry.
Magnus holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology.
