Magnus Friberg
General Manager - Americas

Magnus joined SmartTrust in September of 2007 to head up the Americas unit. He has worked for over a decade in the cellular telecommunications industry in a variety of business and sales management positions. Magnus is responsible for all the Americas operations including sales, marketing, delivery, services and operations for SmartTrust.

Before coming to SmartTrust Magnus was Chief Operating Officer of MobileAccess Networks, a global wireless telecommunications services and equipment company based in the United States. Prior to MobileAccess Networks he served in several executive and senior managerial positions including Vice President of Operations for Powerwave, President and General Manager for LGP Allgon and Allgon Telecom, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Flextronics Network Services, Vice President of Marketing with SpectraSite Communications and Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Allgon Telecom.

Magnus holds a BA in Business Administration from Augustana College and an MBA from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, Arizona.
