Sharad Arora

General Manager - APAC

Having started out at Xerox in Product R&D, Sharad has 16 years of Technology and Business Management experience between the Office Automation and Telecommunications industry. Beginning in 1994, his experience with a telecom operator in the role of a technology solutions provider to the marketing, operations, customer care, strategy and finance departments, has given him a deep insight and understanding of an operator’s environment.

Sharad has actively assisted telecom operators in getting significant business value from SmartTrust’s technology, solutions and services, with profitable and proven business cases in the areas of preferred roaming, over-the-air management of SIM cards and Devices, Infotainment and Security.

As General Manager of SmartTrust’s APAC business, his role is to lead a professional team of sales, presales, solution architects, project managers and operations consultants to add significant value to a Telco’s fast growing VAS business.

Sharad has an honours degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) and a Masters in Economics.
