Vice President Business Unit SIM OTA
Alf came to SmartTrust in January of 2008 assuming the position of Vice President Business Unit SIM OTA. He is responsible for all aspects of its portfolio of products for SIM Management. During his over 25 years in the telecom industry, Alf has worked in senior management positions for network infrastructure, middleware and consulting companies.
Most recently he held a position as CEO of Infomator, one of the largest IT educational companies in the Nordic region. Prior to this, he was the CEO of Netcom Consultants, a specialist telecom consultancy firm, until its successful sale to the Cybercom Group. Before assuming the Netcom position, he held leading positions in a number of start-ups within the mobile data services area including Mi4e later acquired by Insignia and now part of Smith Micro. Alf was a pioneer in explosive growth of the mobile industry during the 1990s holding a number of senior management positions at Ericsson, both in Sweden and North America, including Global Account Manager and Head of Business and Product Line Management where he led over 150 people.
Alf holds a degree in Computer Science from Stockholm University complemented by graduate studies in Economics, Law and Marketing.
